Welcome to the Hills Brewers Guild Community
The Hills Brewers Guild (HBG) was initiated in late 2005, by a group of beer brewers who reside in the Hills District of North West Sydney Australia (Baulkham Hills, North Rocks, Castle Hill, Dural, Kellyville etc).We meet for a club night usually monthly on a Monday/Tuesday alternating between Castle Hill and North Rocks.Recently we formed the formal guidelines for the Guild and requested brewers that were interested in particpating in HBG events become financial members. Currently the annual fees are $25 and will go towards subsidising HBG events for members, and for the costs associated with being a club (insurance etc).The HBG has already completed a number of group events including a commercial brewday at Braidwood brewing authentic British Real Ale, and most recently a tour of the Malt Shovel Brewery in Camperdown.
We have brewers that span the range of brewing techniques (Kit+Kilo, Partial Mash and All Grain), so whatever your brewing style, if you wish to be apart of a brewing group of like minded individuals, drop us a line and get in contact.Regards,Hills Brewers Guild
